Heosphoros showing Noise-chan how it’s done.
This is a really special episode of Noise Channel as we had our first co-host! Heosphoros joined us all the way from the wilderness of Canada to share his collection of chiptunes from Heossentials.
This is also the first show in which TrueStar was pretty tipsy before the show. Much like the wonderful pixel art from jordizzle implies, Heos kept drinking and holding his own while TrueStar was screwing up all over the place.

Noise Channel is gearing up for the Fourth Annual Nugget’s Choice Award! Thirty two chiptune artists will do battle with one another and only one will survive!
OK it’s not that dramatic, but it’ll be lots of fun and we need your help to make it a success! Here’s the deal.
TrueStar has randomly selected thirty two chiptune artists to participate in the Nugget’s Choice Award. They have been randomly paired up and listeners will hear tracks from each pairing. After the show, listeners will come to this website and vote on the chiptune artist they like most in each pairing. Artists will be eliminated in a bracket style tournament; only one will remain!
This event will start up on June 21st and will take about six or seven weeks to complete. Please keep in mind that while this is a contest, it’s a completely silly one and no one will actually win anything. It’s just for fun!
